There is a really neat ...Yes, at the Whistle Stop. There is a really neat former plantation near there called Jarrell Plantation. It is a true example of what most backwoods plantations were like. Great place to go.<BR/><BR/>Fried green tomatoes are also great at the Blue Willow in (Social Circle, Ga.) and at The Lady and Sons in Savannah. That's Paula Deen's place---she has a show on the Food Network. <BR/><BR/>Salted or unsalted watermelon is a little mushy for me.
