Definitel...Alaska by cruise ship is pretty amazing. Definitely spend the extra bucks and take a helicopter excursion where you can actually land on a glacier. Once in a lifetime...and truly awe-inspiring!<BR/><BR/>As an elementary history teacher (I have a 5th grader), you might be interested that there is a show on from 8 to 11 on the History Channel (I think?) on Sunday night...the real story of the Mayflower. But, oh my goodness, if those are the only two you get to, it'll be worth it! The Grand Canyon is so beautiful it literally makes you cry as you stand at the edge. Italy is so full of warm, inviting people, and spectacular food, you'll never feel so welcome anywhere else. I hope you make it to your dream destinations!
