My most recent post over at the
American Presidents blog examines how I use presidential elections and campaign slogans in my classroom to assist students in committing details to memory. My favorite campaign slogan, ‘We Polked you in ’44, we shall Pierce you in ‘52’, unfortunately is not one I use in the classroom for obvious reasons.
However, I do use ‘Tippecanoe and Tyler too’ as a problem posing exercise. Head on over…..
