Now is a good time to contact your local Sons of the American Revolution, or Sons of the Revolution chapter (Casimir Pulaski in west Georgia) (http://sar.org) for an inclass presentation on the founding of the country and the presidents. Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War (http://suvcwga.org in Georgia, http://suvcw.org nationally) address later issues in the 19th Century. All three will discuss broad patriotic and American themes (such as the Anthem).
