The photo is very cool even without the explanation...
Thanks, Ellen. I hope to write about this week's image later in the week.
Is it a doorway to an escape route somewhere?
It is a doorway to freedom - leave all your worries behind the door and relax in the calm of the water. Thanks for visiting my blog.
Thanks for stopping by my place, come back often! I love your photo, it looks like a great place to relax and collect your thoughts!
Nice photo - it reminds me of Greece for some reason. Thanks for stopping by my site, happy WW.
It is leading out ! lol !
Not sure but it looks like a doorway to relaxation.Happy WW!
It reminds me of Fort Massachusetts on Ship Island.
Vesuvius!(I hope)
Just a hunch, the Ile de Goree?Keith
I thought it was amazing that most folks thought this was a doorway that would bring something positive. Keith, this doorway can indeed be found on the Ile de Goree....hunch indeed! :)Look for my explanation in a day or two.
Before I read the last comments, I thought the picture had something to do with slave trade in Africa... I don't know why... the image said confinement more than freedom...
It looks a lot like what I thought the doorway to the human world looked like in the book by C.S.Lewis, Prince Caspian.
