Those jack-o-lanterns look like they're made of cast iron. Are they?

...not sure about the cast iron, but they are pumpkins of the metallic kind...the sort that can be used over and over and over. For the past several years we have been at our church on Halloween and don't normally carve one anymore. We'd probably come home to find it smashed.

I guess having a metallic pumpkin is sort of like having a heavy-duty, non-smashable mailbox if you live on a rural route!
