I agree with all three of you. Sandy, I failed to get the name of the church, but it does look Episcopalian. For those of you that wonder....it's not my church.

That looks like an Episcopalian church, which denomination broke away from the Anglican church in this new nation.
religion has a HUGE role in american history..... i think it would be hard to separate the two.
