Ummmmm.... because it's got a U.S. flag hanging from its belly? :DNo clue. More time to think.. hmmm..
It's too small for my old eyes to tell. I haven't a clue either. I do see the flag too. Have a great WW. :)
Is it a salmon?
I have no idea! Is it a sturgeon?http://pixelonepurltwo.wordpress.com
It is out of water?? Cool pic though.
because it's the fish that represents the fish that Jesus had at the last supper?
I have no idea either??? hhmmmpph.
Not a sturgeon....not a salmon. It was not served at the Last Supper, and the flag doesn't make it sacred in this case.
I have no idea? My Wordless Wednesday is up too! :)

Another one I don't know...
All I have been able to discover, is that if you Google "Sacred Fish", you wind up with some weird results. I'm still trying to figure out what the "Brethren of the Sacred Fish" is about. This should be an interesting one.Keith
not a clue, bit it is a neat looking fist.
Holy Mackerel! I don't have a clue!
I've been scanning fish all morning! It almost looks like a haddock and there's a mark on it many fisheren call the 'Devil's Thumbprint' or 'St. Peter's Mark'.I think your photo is of one suspended from a natural history museum or an aquarium. (Atlanta's is quite famous, but I'm not sure it's that one.)
I just knew someone would get this right off. I'll post the answer along with my weekend reading assignment tomorrow.
