Thursday 13-Version 6: Things I'd Like Santa to Deliver

1. A place for everything and everything in its place and that everything that needed doing was DONE

2. More room in my classroom

3. More room in my house

4. More room in my chair when I sit in it

5. A sweet Bulldog puppy that my lazy Hemingway cat would NOT eat

6. Several books on various political and historical topics

7. Extra time to read the books on various political and historical topics

8. A full time cook and laundress for my long suffering family

9. An assistant to do my clerical work in the classroom

10. A three-stone diamond ring from Dear Hubby

11. A book deal….it doesn’t matter what kind of book…any deal will do

12. A brand new Jaguar----Champagne colored

13. One more lucid conversation with my mother

Great list! I hope you get them all! Send Santa my way and tell him I could use most of those things too. :) Merry Christmas!

I completely agree about the need for a full-time secretary for school-based paperwork. I just recycled TWO trash bags full of memos, notes, and ridiculous stuff. I mean, I can teach, or I can answer all of the memos--guess what gets done? Have a great holiday, and I hope you get lots of things from your list!

#4 cracked me up :-)

I'd like to have one more conversation with my Mom, too. I didn't think she'd go when she did...course I couldn't imagine her going anyway!

Hang in there and know she loves you and is at peace.

I could go with pretty much any or all of those!

I enjoy historical books, especially books that focus on environmental history. But I also enjoy books that focus on history of the American west.

My 13 are up.

More room in my classroom!!! Yeh! And diamonds, yes please!

Salad cream is a salad dressing, it looks like a loose creamy yellow mayo but it's sharper, more vinegary. And is not made in the same way as mayo --> a recipe to give you an idea, I'm buying mine! And I'm roasting my parsnips, with a dash of honey added just for the last 10 mins.

Could you ask Santa for #8 and #10 for me too. My first restaurant job, the owner, she had a champagne Jag that I just envied.

Have a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year.

Boy that list sneaks up on you...slowly slowly a little humor, a little wishful thinking and then pow, the last wish...choked me up a bit I will say.

Good list and I hope all your wishes come true and you have a wonderful holiday!!!

When Santa delivers that extra space to you, see if he has any left over and send him to my house!

The things I would do for #13... I lost my mum in June. I know she's still here somehow, but it's not the same...
Have a warm and lovely Christmas and I hope santa brings you everything you want!
My TT is about Yule.

That's a fantastic list.... a little bulldog puppy would just be wonderful over here too! :) I'd also like to order one of those cooks/laundress please! :)

Have a very Merry Christmas... and may Santa bring you as much as he possibly can to match your list.

Great list! :) More room would always be useful! I hope some of your Christmas wishes come true.

Happy Holidays!

I was thinking of asking Santa for someone to do the laundry and make dinner, too. Think he can wrestle up 2 of those before Christmas? I really only need it for about 6 months. At least that's what I'd tell him...then I'd probably beg for her to stay on. :)

Thanks for stopping by ~ hope you have a wonderful Christmas full of happy memeories and miracles!

More room, indeed! (although can I substitute the cook and laundress for a housekeeper like Alice on the Brady Bunch?)

Happy TT!
